Choirs
The choir at St. Pancras enhances the liturgical celebrations by leading the music ministry at Sunday Masses through hymns and songs that will ensure the “full, conscious, and active participation in the liturgical celebration” (Sacrosanctum Concilium, 14). The whole church community benefits from participating in the Eucharist through prayerful music.
At St. Pancras, we have a rotating roster of three choirs: adult choir (English), adult choir (Polish), and childrens’ choir.
Adult Choir (English) — 11 AM Mass (Sundays)
We invite all parishioners (in high school and older) to please think about joining our (English) Adult Choir! Our choir sings weekly at our 11 am Sunday Mass. If you cannot commit to every week, perhaps you will consider joining us for some weeks, or even just the Christmas and Holy Week Liturgies.
Adult Choir (Polish) — 9:30 AM Mass (Sundays)
We invite all parishioners in the Polish Community (in high school and older) to please think about joining our (Polish) Adult Choir! Our Polish choir helps plan liturgies and rehearses/sings weekly at our 9:30 am Sunday (Polish) Mass. If you cannot commit to every week, perhaps you will consider joining us for some weeks, or even just the Christmas and Holy Week Liturgies.
Childrens’ Choir — 4:30 PM Mass (Saturdays)
Parents, please discuss with your children the ministry of participating in the Youth Choir at St. Pancras. Your child’s participation in the choir helps build confidence in many areas, as well as of course in their singing. We would love to have them!
